"Venga" the father calls to his 14 year old son and so the two cyclists start a lap (= Vuelta). In Spain, cycling is practiced and we want to take you to absolutely beautiful Andalusia. Already a few kilometers behind the coast is a worthwhile destination by beautiful Sierras (mountain ranges), little traffic and the cyclist is very respected, thousands of signs with the inscription: Careful, here are cyclists, remember 1.5 m distance, exhort the motorists. This and the breathtaking scenery and the variety of cultural assets makes Andalusia attractive, exciting and unique. We have organized an exclusive trip for you that is unparalleled. Day 1: Arriving by plane to Malaga and transfer to the hotel, optional roundabout. Day 2: 87 km 2300 m up A few kilometers from the beach in the back it is quiet, we climb a fabulously beautiful mountain pass on the Puerto de Penas, look back to the sea and before we drive through the beautiful Sierra Bermeja. Fantastic views down to Gibraltar reward us. After a delicious lunch in a typical Taberna we continue our way over the Puerto de Espino, we get from the province of Malaga to Cadiz where we expected a super tarred departure, release your brakes and go! Day 3: 101 km - 2100 m up Today we drive into the Sierra Grazalema, through cork oak forests we reach the Puerto de Las Palomas where we might see ibexes. The road meanders gently downhill, beautifully built pass with stunning views of the Embalse de Zahara (lake). In the Sierra de Pinar, a very special botany awaits us, the hedgehog pine forest is unparalleled. We have lunch at a local restaurant in the village of Zahara, where a castle towers above and on a rock. We continue to Ronda, the cradle of bullfighting. In the evening we will have a concert with Celia Morales, she will master the Spanish guitar (flamenco guitar) like no other Day 4: 50 km - 1230 m up Ronda was considered an impregnable fortress in Roman times, no wonder as majestic as this place was built on the rocks. The views of the landscape are beautiful and that's exactly where we get started. We visit the Cuerva de Pileta, a cave where we see animal drawings from earlier human times. Back in Ronda we visit the bullring and take a small tour of the city. In the evening we visit the flamenco traditional. Day 5: Attention the trip in the autumn includes one more day we spend in Seville. We will visit the most beautiful Cathedral of Seville with its impressive tower Giralda Alcazar and bullring are worth visiting. We optionally take a carriage ride and enjoy the beautiful city of Seville along the Guadalquivir River. Day 5: 110 km - 2400 m up We head to the Sierra de las Nieves National Park where our first pass, Puerto del Viento, makes our hearts beat faster. Lonely goat herds meet us in this beautiful landscape, the asphalt rolls easily and brings us over the Puerto de Málaga to our lunch break in a quaint taverna. There, we continue along the royal canyon of Caminito del Rey, surrounded by high cliffs, climbing a short 17% climb before the landscape continues through the Sierra de Huma and the Sierra de Chiminea and we reach Antequera. We are doing a little city tour. The mighty Alcazaba invites you to dine with a great view over the city. Day 6 (7): 100 km - 2220 m up Today is great times cinema announced, we drive into the Parque Natural de El Torcal, fabulous rock formations and fantastic views await us. It looks as if the bastard from the "Neverending Story" spat there. We drink a cup of coffee before heading to the Puerto del Barco (pass of the ship) and through the Sierra de las Cabras (goats). A natural landscape especially like the last time we saw wrens there. In the Sierra de Camarolos we continue around the bend, it appears the Queen of the Sierras, the Sierra Nevada, snowy, majestic, absolutly magnifisant ! Day 7 (8): 41 km - 660 m up optional Today is Cool Tour = culture announced, after morning recovery stage we reach by bus Grenada and visit the Alhambra, the palace of the Nasrid. Later we walk through the alleyways in Albacin past shops with great crafts to a beautiful vantage point. In the evening we go to Sacromonte, where in the partially built in caves houses a terrific flamenco evening waiting for us, the traditional wedding of the Gypsies is danced and also the modern way of Flamemco. Before that, we dine deliciously typical of the country, cooked by the mom. Day 8 (9): 101 km - 3046 m up Queen's stage on Europe's most passable pass in the Sierra Nevada to Pico Veleta at 3396 m. Day 9 (10): 78 km - 1880 m up Las Alpujarras, the last retreat of the Moors awaits us with beautiful scenery and as always great mountain passes. With luck, we'll see ibexes again. In the morning short transfer from Grenada to Orgiva. Tag 10 (11): 66 km -1000 m up Finally at the sea we head to the Sierra del Chaparral, eat lunch in a very cozy tavern and jump back to the sea. Day 11 (12): After a leisurely breakfast relax on the beach and departure with transfer. There is the possibility to extend your stay, let your partner and family travel and spend some nice time in Andalusia. We are happy to help.
