Day 1: Arrival from Garmisch with our luxury panorama bus to Livorno, transfer by ferry to Bastia. Optional arrival by plane * to Bastia and transfer to our sailing boat Day 2: 106 km 1800 m ascent around Cap Corse We leave Bastia along the coast to the north, we quickly find it quiet on the streets, our gaze falls on the turquoise blue sea with the crystal clear water. We cross picturesque villages in small bays before turning inland. The vegetation of the island is shaped by the maquis and the first small pass awaits us, which gives us an idea of the dreamy mountains of the Íle de Bauté (Island of Beauties). After the descent we treat ourselves to a rest and a stop in a typical restaurant before we continue along the breathtaking west coast. This coastal road is one of the most beautiful in Europe and it's really fascinating. Day 3: Today we enjoy the day sailing and relaxing and let the wind blow around our noses in a different way. Our catamaran takes us to Saint Florent, the Saint Tropez of the Corsicans. Day 4: 72 km 1550 m ascent Today we start through the Nebbio wine-growing region in the hinterland to the Col de San Stefano with the Romano-Pisan church of San Michele de Murato. We continue up through the beautiful macchia with blooming strawberry trees to the Col de Bigorno, where we stop for coffee before returning to the boat. Now it's time to set sails, we continue to I´Île Rousse Day 5: 60 km 1050 hm alternatively 82 km 1830 hm After breakfast we set off with the racing bike in the Haute Balagne, once the island's garden, today a land of picturesque villages. A beautiful, wild mountain backdrop and possibly the Bocca di a Battaglia await us on a great high-altitude road above the sea. Back on the boat we can sail a little again and relax on the way to Calvi. Corsica is known for its elegant wines and there is the possibility of a wine tasting at Domaine Landry before dinner. Depending on our mood, we can then stretch our legs with a walk through the citadel. Day 6: 80 km, 1470 m ascent While our boat sails along the coast to Porto, we drive on the sensational coastal road to Porto. The rocks plunge almost vertically into the sea, which is darker because of its depth, a beautiful contrast to the red rocks. With the Bocca Bassa, the Col de Palmarella and the Col de la Croix, real highlights await us again, where we will certainly make one or two photo stops. Depending on our preference, we can still turn into the Fangu Valley and visit the Parc National, which is under nature protection, from where you have a great view of the "Matterhorn" of Corsica, the Paglia Orba (2525m), known as the most beautiful mountain. Day 7: 100km, 2760 m ascent, Königstappe Today we let the cow fly, this stage will be unforgettable. Through the narrow gorge and bizarre rock world of the Calanche up to the Col de Lava. We continue along the beautiful coastal landscape over the Col de Toracchia before we turn inland. The Col de St. Antoine with the famous forest, an incredibly beautiful stand of pines awaits us before we ... and now it comes! Immerse yourself in an amazingly beautiful mountain world similar to the Dolomites, really grandiose…. this does the Ile de Beaute (island of beauties) credit. Day 8: After so many beautiful kilometers of racing bikes, it's time to sail and relax, we drive back to Saint Florent Day 9: The agony of choice ... or both? Option to sail around the Cap Corse or you can ride your racing bike along the west coast with us ... or sail half and cycle the other half. We enjoy the last evening in the old port of Bastia and review our impressions. Day 10: Departure by ferry to Livorno and return to Garmisch, alternatively return flight *. * the flight costs are not included. The program is exemplary as we have to adapt the tour depending on the wind and weather.
